GAA’s Chamberlain to Keynote North Atlantic Seafood Forum
Once again this year, the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) will be an active participant in the North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF).
The three-day conference — which takes place at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Bergen, Norway, from March 6 to 8 — will feature more than 125 speakers, according to NASF Managing Director Jørgen Lund, who expects 2018 to be a banner year for NASF.
Last year’s conference drew more than 900 attendees from 300 companies and 35 countries.
This is the 13th edition of NASF, which bills itself as the world’s largest seafood business conference.
GAA President George Chamberlain will give the keynote address at the aquaculture session on Wednesday, March 7. The aquaculture session is one of 17 sessions planned for the conference.
Also attending the conference will be GAA Development Director Iain Shone and Mike Berthet, market development manager-UK for GAA’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division. Berthet also plays a role in organizing the conference, acting as NASF international business development director-UK.
GAA is one of 48 NASF sponsors and partners.
