Global Aquaculture Alliance Adds Digital Marketing Coordinator To Staff

GAA Adds Digital Marketing Coordinator To Staff

Please join the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) in welcoming Devan Meserve, GAA’s new digital marketing coordinator, to the organization.

As GAA’s digital marketing coordinator, which is a new position, Meserve will be responsible for social media, content generation and SEO (search engine optimization), developing and executing a strategy for GAA’s pre-competitive activities, including membership, the GOAL conference and Global Aquaculture Advocate publication, as well as GAA’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) third-party certification program.

Meserve will also be actively involved in GAA’s new online community, MyGAA, where members, industry, academia and consumers can foster relationships through discussion boards, ask-an-expert features, courses, global event registration, consumer forums and more. MyGAA launches in January.

Meserve will work out of GAA’s Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA, office, reporting to GAA Membership Manager, Becky Holt. She comes to GAA from nearby Calypso Communications, where she acted as the content and social media manager. Calypso Communications is a boutique agency providing creative and strategic writing, PR and design to brands and organizations with communications challenges.

Meserve is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and brings many years of marketing experience with various prestigious New Hampshire-based nonprofits.
