GAA Sponsors FirstSource Seafood 1on1
The Global Aquaculture Alliance is among the sponsors of FirstSource Seafood 1on1.
Organized by FirstSource Events, the six-year-old event connects seafood suppliers with high-volume retail and foodservice seafood buyers in an invitation-only, one-on-one networking environment. This year, FirstSource will be adding a conference component, and GAA will moderate one of the roundtable discussions.
This year’s event is being held at the Hotel Providence in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, from June 15 to 17.
“We are encouraged by the feedback we have been receiving and our response from both seafood suppliers and buyers to date. Working with GAA and FishChoice, we are excited to expand this year’s seafood event with a one-day conference program and look forward to growing this hosted buyer networking event for many years to come,” said Bill Doherty, director of FirstSource Events.
Doherty’s company, International Conference Development, acquired FirstSource Events in 2014. Other FirstSource events include Deli & Specialty Cheese 1on1, Meat & Poultry 1on1, Bakery 1on1 and Healthy Food 1on1.
